Big Tesuque Campground Hike, July 9, 9 AM

We will meet at the Big Tesuque Campground parking area. The hike will follow Tesuque Creek upstream to the point where it intersects the Aspen Vista Trail. Then we will proceed a bit farther up the Aspen Vista Trail. We will return on the same route. There are a few wooden steps at one place, but for the most part the trail is not exceptionally steep. The wild flowers should still be in bloom. Total time on the trail will be about 2 hours.
Ken Friedman will lead this hike. It is rated easy / moderate, although keep in mind that the elevation will be around 10,000 feet and there is a short steep section.

Registration is NOT required. There are restrooms at the trailhead.

We will have an optional lunch at Cafe Catron. They have plenty of parking, good group seating, good service, and good food.
When:
Tuesday, July 9, 2024, 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM
Where:
Big Tesuque Campground, a little less than 12 miles up Hyde Park Road.
